Happy Mama, Happy Baby Yoga
A Prenatal Yoga Course (available for booking privately or small groups)
A 6-week course designed for mamas-to-be, to learn how the tools of yoga practice can be useful preparation for birth and life with a new baby.
During this course, we will:
Develop a skilled asana practice (sequences of yoga poses) – modified and suitable for all stages of pregnancy.
Learn Pranayama or breathing techniques to facilitate awareness and focus as well as relaxation.
Practice meditation and restorative poses to further encourage relaxation and stress relief.
This course aims to give you the foundation and confidence to continue practicing at home and to help you during the birthing process.
About me: Prenatal yoga has been part of my formal training and I’ve taught many women over the years, for example at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. I’m also a mom myself of two beautiful girls ages 6 and 4.
